Question 2

How do I send RivetDocket a job for permit support?

Accepted Answer

Use the job-intake form to share the job address, trade, and permit information you have. If you are unsure whether a permit is needed, choose “Not sure.” Permit notes are optional when you do not have them.

Question 3

How are permit applications prepared and submitted?

Accepted Answer

A RivetDocket specialist prepares the permit application and checks it for errors. The contractor reviews and approves the completed application; after approval, the specialist submits it to the permitting authority, which makes the permit decision. RivetDocket cannot guarantee approval or timing.

Question 4

What does contractor signoff mean?

Accepted Answer

The responsible contractor reviews the application prepared by a RivetDocket specialist in the signed-in job record and can approve it for specialist submission or request changes. After approval, the specialist submits it; only the permitting authority decides whether to issue the permit.

Question 5

How can I follow filing and inspection progress?

Accepted Answer

RivetDocket helps coordinate inspections and tracks confirmed inspection details in your signed-in job record. The relevant authority controls inspection decisions and appointment availability; appointments and timing are not guaranteed.

Question 6

Can RivetDocket guarantee permit approval or a processing time?

Accepted Answer

No. The permit authority decides permit outcomes and processing, and controls inspection appointment availability. RivetDocket does not guarantee approval or timing.

Question 7

What license and insurance dates can RivetDocket track?

Accepted Answer

RivetDocket tracks the license and insurance expiration dates recorded in your account. The signed-in dashboard surfaces dated records coming due within 30 days or past due. RivetDocket does not issue licenses or decide whether an insurer will provide coverage.

Question 8

What does renewal paperwork support include?

Accepted Answer

A RivetDocket specialist can help prepare renewal paperwork for contractor review. The contractor can approve it, request changes, or decline it. The licensing issuer decides whether to renew a license, and the insurer decides coverage.
