Privacy information

This page describes information used for signed-in credential tracking and the public date checker’s optional reminder.

Trial terms and timing

Signup starts a free 14-day credential-tracking trial when it creates your account. No credit card is required. The trial covers saved license, insurance, and permit expiration dates and reminders; permit filing support is excluded and handled through a separate inquiry process. When day 14 ends, tracking pauses until the contractor signs in and chooses an available plan. Plan names and terms appear only when RivetDocketmax makes plans available, and the trial does not automatically activate a paid plan.

Signed-in account and trial records

The account and its trial profile include:

  • The account name and email address.
  • Email and password authentication information and session records. A session can include an IP address or browser user agent when captured.
  • Company, trade, and state saved to the trial profile.
  • Each saved credential’s category, label, expiration date, and notes.
  • Trial start and end dates and any plan choice saved to the account.
  • Credential-reminder send records associated with saved credentials: credential category and record ID, expiration date, reminder interval in days, delivery status, and send time when an email is sent. The current reminder intervals are 90, 60, 30, and 7 days before expiration.

Account access and permit inquiries

Credential records are tied to the signed-in account that created them. Account pages and data requests check the signed-in account before showing or changing its records. Permit-support inquiries and the information submitted with them are handled through their separate review process.

Public date checker and optional reminder

The public checker compares the entered expiration date with today in the browser. A check-only date is not sent to the app or saved, and checking does not create an account. The comparison does not verify a credential or contact a licensing board, insurer, or permitting authority.

If a visitor opts in to a one-time email reminder, the app saves the email address, credential category, expiration date, chosen delivery date, time zone, and delivery status. It records a send time when the reminder email is sent.
